Cutting Boards These end-grain cutting boards come in any dimensions to fit your countertop. Typically they measure in the neighborhood of 18"x24"x1.5" thick. The end-grain design enables your knives to stay sharper longer, and the wood fibers separate with each knife stroke (they don't sever!), so your board should last a long, long time! Minimal maintenance is required, and the warm patina these boards develop over time is absolutely beautiful. Any number of woods can be featured, including walnut, maple, birch, white oak, purple heart, osage orange, jatoba, and ash, just to name a few. The woods can be random (as shown) or made into any pattern you design. Each includes a bottle of butcher-block oil. Back to top |
